In the Scala cinema in the heart of the city of St. Gallen, films have been flickering across the screen for over 100 years. The cinema, originally built under the name “Hecht” among many others, is today one of the few remaining cinemas in the city with six auditoriums and a total of 1’000 seats.

New comfortable seats and lots of legroom!
We have completely rebuilt auditorium 5 in the blue Cinema Scala and now offer comfortable chairs with plenty of legroom in every row. Also new are our Premium Seats, where 2 consumptions per person are included with the ticket purchase.
