When a young girl's sketchbook falls into a mysterious pond, the unthinkable happens: her sketched creatures come to life - surprisingly, chaotically and quite vividly! While the small town slowly falls apart at the seams, the girl and her brother set off on an adventurous search for their escaped fantasies. Their father, who does everything he can to find them again, fights his way through a town full of mysterious incidents. But to put an end to the confusion, they first have to get back together - and discover that there is a piece of truth in every drawing.
